2026 LYB Season Participation Requirements (Must meet all)*

Age / Grade:

• 14u      8th Grade & not older than 14 as of May 1, 2026 (15th birthday not before May 2nd)
• 13u      7th Grade & not older than 13 as of May 1, 2026 (14th birthday not before May 2nd)           
• 12u      6th Grade & not older than 12 as of May 1, 2026 (13th birthday not before May 2nd)           
• 11u      5th Grade & not older than 11 as of May 1, 2026 (12th birthday not before May 2nd)           
• 10u      4th Grade & not older than 10 as of May 1, 2026 (11th birthday not before May 2nd)          
•   9u      3rd Grade & not older than 9 as of May 1, 2026 (10th birthday not before May 2nd)
•    8u      2nd Grade & not older than 8 as of May 1, 2026 (9th birthday not before May 2nd)

Libertyville Little League (LLL) House League Participation:

• 14u      None
• 13u      None            
• 12u      None
• 11u      None
• 10u      None
•   9u      Registered in the appropriate LLL division (all teams).
•    8u      Registered in the appropriate LLL division (all teams).

Residency:

All participants must reside within the Libertyville High School feeder boundary (includes Green Oaks, Lancaster Subdivision, Rondout, see map below) -or- reside in the Vernon Hills "Choice Zone" (can elect to attend LHS), -or- Great Lakes Naval Station, -or- attend St. Joseph Catholic School in Libertyville, IL.

* Exceptions:  In the event that additional players are needed to fill out a roster composed primarily of qualified players, LYB reserves the right to allow interested players outside of the residency requirements to try out. This is done after the primary (requirement restricted) tryout is complete and is subject to review by the LYB Board of Directors.
