League Rules

This is a two man scramble league.*The best ball will be used and the lowest score recorded for the hole by your team. *Tee times and schedules will be honored. In the event a player of the fouresome on the tee box is not present the next group in order of tee times has the box until the first tee box foursome is complete.*The first foursome is resposible for taking out the two closest too the pin markers. This season we will use a 100 percent handicap to keep score. Points will be  awarded, two for winning a hole, one four halving a hole. *A team can not win a hole with a "double bogie if the ball is picked up after the double bogie limit put is missed." Max Score" A double bogie can win a hole only if the team receiving the double bogie is giving up a Shot and they actually sink the double bogie putt. If both teams have to pick up , neither team will receive a point on the hole. On holes where a ball is picked up, on the score card the double bogie score will be marked with a triangle around the score to signify it was a max score double bogie. Four points will be awarded to the team that has the low net score at the end of a round. If the net score is the same, each team earns 2 points. Number of Holes won is the first tie breaker. The next  tie breaker will be low net score on the top handicap hole of that 9, continuing on down the remaining top handicap holes if necessary. In the event both teams are tied with 11 points. *The team with the low net score on the hardest handicap hole is awarded 1 extra point and considered the winner of the match. Maximum  handicap will be 7.Matches are won by the team receiving the most points. There will be skins pots, closest to the pins pots available which will be collected by Kenny before each round. 5 dollars a player for  each pot.  Entering pots is for the fun of game but not neccasary.*Winter rules will always be played.Teams  can roll and place the ball as needed. Moving the ball slightly not towards the hole is exceptable to avoid contact with striking a tree or rocks with your club.* If a ball is less than a club length into the woods it can be rolled back to the edge, any more than a club length and it is considered out of bounds and a drop with a penalty shot is required.* THERE ARE NO MULLIGANS. Your partner is your mulligan, that's why it's a two man scramble. I will make up weekly scorecards with the teams and tee times on them. The cards are to be completed and turned into myself or Kenny weekly. Those will be considered the official cards. The Final Regular season standings will place you in the final THREE week FED_X style playoffs. The first place team will start at -13 .Teams will use their score minus their handicap to obtain their score to par per week. * Every position below will start one shot back as the 14th place team will start at even par. Each week teams will be paired where the current standings place them in PGA style rules with the leaders going last. If a sub must be used during the three week playoffs, a 2 stroke penalty will be applied each week the sub plays. During the regular season there will be no penalty and team handicaps will be honored re.There will be trophies and cash awarded for the league winners and the top 3. *Please respect the golf courses alcohol policy. if your going to drink a product they dont sell, make sure you throw out your cans before you return your cart. Putting for pars or better must be played out but anything over a par can be conceded by the oposing team*Double bogie is the highest score on any hole. Most Importantly, this is a FUN LEAGUE! This is not a qualifier for the Masters.
