Welcome to Nashville Beach a long- term effort to bring the Caribbean to the hills of Tennessee. As passionate players we have traveled the world finding volleyball and friends from a community center in Chetstow Wales to the sand and surf of Kona, Hawaii and the annual February Dinosaur Tournament and all parts in-between.
We have played in Seattle with grass doubles to the Seaside of Oregon to the wonderful experience at the Motherlode in Aspen, Colorado to the shores of Santa, Barbara, CA.
There is volleyball around the country and we have played along the beach route from San Diego to Santa Cruz, Arizona, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, British Columbia and beyond.
The Estero Beach tournament was an experience. We try to bring an idea from each tournament back to Nashville Beach.
We are one of the original promoter’s of the annual spring and fall Destin 4”s that has grown from an original 32 teams to more than 250 teams with a week of clinics, competition and FUN! We were also one of the founding regions to start the Amateur Volleyball Association and continue to support the development with both the AVPNext and AVP.
This has been our vision and our story of what we learned and enjoyed about each tournament. After years of trying to work with city and government agencies we decided to create our own paradise. We share our 10 acres in the woods of Joelton and show the benefit to the community.
Nashville Beach began with one white sand court for our friends and has grown over the past 26 years to include 4 white sand courts, tiki hut, pool, deck, koi pond along with a trout pond at the front entrance.
We played on various sand in our beach travels and found brown sand to be hot and dirty and become pure mud in a rainstorm. Roman is a curious designer by nature and began to research white sand along with the drainage and design needed for our terrain and environment. Roman maintains the courts to keep them at their ultimate best for competition. We provide consulting services on court and facility design around the country.
