NDL Official Rules And Regulation

 

• You are required to respect all NDL Staff no matter in what situation. We have the right to strike you or kick you out of the league. 

• Any spamming in chats with unesscary things will result in warnings/bans.

• We also have the right to override all rules. Every person/ team will have 3 strikes. 1st violation will result in a warning. 2nd violation will result in a suspension or forfeiture of games. 3rd violation will result in a subject to removal and potential ban from current and future NDL Seasons.

• EVERY GAME MUST BE STREAMED, make sure save past broadcast is enabled. If you do not, it will affect your count against your argument in a controversial situation.

• Our league logo must be on the court for every game (SEARCH crabzut), If you are on a new court, then make sure NDL is in your name.

• In order to prevent the same post of screenshots and people trying to play invalid games through our matchup chat, we limit access to 1 person per team(Generally The GM). However, anyone participating in the league can request access to read the only version of the channels!

• Every game must be posted in our final-score-screenshot in the channel by the winning team, if the screenshot is not in that channel, your record will not be updated.

• 10 GP requirement for playoffs, teams with the best record combined with strength of schedule after the GP will make the playoffs. Teams are allowed to play each other three times during the regular season(not the best of three).

• Hosting: If you need to determine the host, this must be agreed upon prior to game time. This is a NA East league by default, so games and series will alternate in favor of East. In playoffs/tournaments, the better seed has a host advantage. In series, hosting will alternate from game to game. If you have issues agreeing on a host, contact an admin.

 

Regular Szn Scheduling

• All games must be found through the discord LEAGUE matchup chat, all matches found through here will be automatically assumed league games. Any other means of matching up you MUST clarify that you are playing a NDL game prior to tip-off. If there is no proof of verification, the game will not count if brought up for dispute.

• Taking A Teams Code Will Result In Forfeiture Or rematch.

Playoff/Tournament Scheduling

• The two teams matching up in playoffs are required to have a set time to play their series. Every minute that team is late is a 1 point per minute basis. Ex: Game starts at 9:00PM and one team shows up at 9:12PM, the team who was on time will start off with a 12 point lead.

• If you cannot agree to get a set time to play a game, staff will decide to make the right decision as they see fit.

• If you show proof you are contacting the team and they are not responding, you will receive the win for the series.

Users/Players

• The use of shared/rented accounts other than your own is not allowed.

• Proof of violation of this will result in forfeiture of game or series. Disrespect and failure to cooperate will not be tolerated from Admins and Players.

• A gamertag switch is a 2.50$ fee.

• Rosters must have their players gamertags.

Lagouts

•  If a player lags out before tip-off it is an automatic restart. Quit the game and contact the opposing team to match up again.

•   Spreads will not be enforced during the regular season. If winning and your teammate lags out, you must quit within 30 seconds of game time if you want to restart the game. If you do not quit out before then, you must finish the game. If losing after the 4:15 mark in the 1st quarter and a teammate lags out, you must play until either 1. The game is finished or 2. You retake the lead and quit out immediately after the basket is made. If you quit out while losing you WILL receive the loss.

Jerseys

• Home jerseys must be white or light grey.

• Away Jerseys must be dark.

• Last thing, No Heart Crusher is allowed otherwise caught with it will lead to forfeiture.
