The Portsmouth JV squad was on the road looking for their 2nd win of the season against the Cranston/Pilgrim/Woonsocket Co-Op team Wednesday afternoon.

The home team Falcons jumped out to an early 3-0 lead through a period and a half.  Late in tne 2nd period Patrick Chouinard got the Patriots on the board with an unassisted goal. 

The Patriots had multiple chances in the 3rd period to mount a rally outshooting the home team but they couldn’t get the puck past the Falcons’ senior netminder. 

The Cranston goalie had 26 saves in the win.  Logan Garcia had 21 saves in the loss. 

Portsmouth is back on the road Friday night when they travel to Mount Saint Charles’ Adelard Arena for the 2nd time this season.
