St. John the Evangelist CYO offers competitive baseball and softball programs and noncompetitive softball and T-Ball programs.

 

Competitive Baseball - ages 9-14 - NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE
Competitive level teams have practices two evenings a week and may have games on weeknights and weekends. Occasionally, games may be scheduled on both Saturday and Sunday.

 

Intramural Softball - ages 7- 8 - NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE
Our noncompetitive softball program teaches advanced game concepts, such as fouls, batting techniques, and better ball handling skills. The program features drills and games against other St. John's Intramural Softball teams. Teams meet on Monday and Thursday evenings, usually at Sligo Middle School fields, for one-hour practices or games.

 

T-ball - ages 4 - 6 (grades Pre K through K) - is LIVE for 2024
This program teaches basic skills (throwing the ball, running bases, catching), as well as general concepts of the game. Practices feature both drills and games. Children must be entering kindergarten or grade 1 the next school year to play T-Ball.
