The Express rode the train into St Boniface and rolled over a chippy Riels squad for a 7th straight win, 5 to 3. Turner led the way with a pair, the second on the PP in the 3rd that proved to be the winner. 
Both teams came out skating but the Express capitalized early for a 2-0 lead only to have the Riels bounce back and tie it up before the end of 1.  The Riels jumped into the lead in the 2nd but the Express continued to press with Johnson and Turner scoring to take a 4-3 lead into the room after 2. The 3rd period was scoreless until Chats buried an open net chance to seal the game. 
Though both teams skated well the Express were able to stick to their game plan while the Riels tried, but failed, to intimidate us. Kudos to the boys for their self control yet still sticking up for each other, a characteristic that is becming more and more evident this season.
