Express came into Ft Garry on Friday night ready to play and hold onto their 1st place standing tied with Hawks. We were firing on all cylinders early in the game, out skating, out chancing the Twins for a 3-1 lead after one. The 2nd was more of the same and expanding the lead to 5-1. 
We knew the Twins would come out hard in the 3rd and they did. We took our foot of the gas pedal and the Twins were desperate to get back into the game. They took advantage of a couple penalties to net a pair of goals to close the gap to 5-3 but the Express replied with one of our own. The final was a 6-4 win for the Express to stay tied for first atop the MMJHL standings. 
next home game is early on Sunday Nov 17 at 12:45 so everyone can make it to watch the Bombers win the Grey Cup.
