TULSA ELITE SOFTBALL: What’s it cost?
FEES: There is absolutely ZERO ORGANZATIONAL FEES for becoming members of Tulsa Elite Softball. We do not charge any Membership fees, mandatory Facility fees, franchise fees, etc. Each of our teams are independent entities that operate under the TE name and guidance. Each team maintains their own TEAM budget, accounts, finances and expenses. The Org is self-funded by other means and helps with free guidance on annual budgets, schedules, travel plans, recruiting, fundraising etc., while also offering direct access to substantial discounts through our sponsors on equipment, uniforms, apparel, etc. at our cost.
How our other teams are funded: All of our teams are self-funded by way of dues, donations, sponsorships and fundraisers; just like the majority of travel/club teams. All of the money our teams raise in dues, donations, sponsorships or fundraisers stays within that individual team’s own bank account and goes directly for team expenses, any excess raised can be applied towards players travel expenses.
Most of our teams maintain volunteer coaching staffs, however some of our teams choose to maintain hired, non-parent coaching staffs. Every team is different and we leave the decision up to the individual teams. The Org doesn’t charge our teams for anything. We have some teams that are fully funded by way of Sponsors, Donations and/or Fundraisers. We have other teams who pay monthly dues to their team’s administrator and all of the money stays within that team’s account and goes for that teams actual expenses, not to pay for other teams or someone else.
COACHES TRAVEL EXPENSES- Some of our teams do pay extra in dues to cover Coaches travel expenses, especially those teams who choose to maintain hired non-parent coaches.
FUND RAISING- Most of our teams do some optional fundraising to help offset expenses. All fundraising is optional for all team members. Those who work the fundraisers, reap the benefits. The Organization helps suggest several fundraisers available to our teams who choose to participate.
SPONSORSHIP- We have access to many corporate sponsors who help offset some expenses and give us access to reduced prices on all of our equipment, uniforms, apparel etc.
DUES- Any dues collected stay within the individual accounts of each team and their team administrator has full control of the accounts.
