Thank you for taking time to register on the SVABL New Player (Free Agent List).

Your name and details will been added to our Free Agent List and available for all managers to see. Once a team has an opening for a new player/s the coach or manager will reach out to players directly to arrange a workout or some form of introduction. The team manager names are listed on the league website under the tab "Coaches". If you do not receive any contact from a coach, please reach out directly and try to arrange a meeting and secure a place on a team.

Player Fitness

I hereby declare to the SVABL that I have been cleared medically and have no impairment or ailment to prevent me from engaging in activities of the SVABL.

The risks of injury and illness (ex: communicable diseases such as MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19) from the activities involved in this program are significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce these risks, the risks of serious injury and illness do exist.

Release of Liability

I hereby assume total responsibility of any injury, accident, incident, illness, or death to me while participating in or as a result of any SVABL activity, game, practice, or function. I fully acknowledge that any cost incurred for any reason will be my sole responsibility, and not the SVABL, Commissioner, or Executive Board.

Player Participation

The SVABL Executive Board reserves the right to disallow any player membership in the SVABL. The SVABL does not guarantee playing time for any player though managers are encouraged to be fair and reasonable in their assignment of playing time for players. Non­paying players are not allowed to participate. Payment schedules are established by individual team managers. Players are encouraged to pay by check or money order as proof of payment. Players who pay cash do so at their own risk. Players may be deemed ineligible to participate in games by managers for failure to pay team fees. Players not eligible to play for a team due to failure to pay are not allowed to play for other teams in the SVABL until payment has been arranged to prior team.

Conduct

I hereby understand that fighting, physical abuse of players, umpires, or spectators, the use of abusive or offensive language, the abuse of any facility used by the SVABL, the use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or tobacco products at any facility where they are prohibited, could result in banishment from the league and forfeiture

I hereby acknowledge that I have read or will read and adhere to all SVABL rules and the provisions of this player contract. I fully agree that the terms and conditions of this agreement are binding and subject to the final judgment of the SVABL Executive Board. Substantive omissions or errors on this form may, in the opinion of the Executive Board, be grounds for suspension or expulsion from the league.
