These are the main features for Communication with a Team, League or Sports Program:

Message Center: This is the communication hub. Simply add mobile numbers to create a list and send out a text alert. You can also identify existing people (such as Player or Coaches) to add individuals or groups to receive a text. This also works for email addresses & sending emails. 

Schedule Update Alerts: Edit any game and send out an alert to all Coaches, Staff and Players Related to the game. Great for immediate urgent updates such as time/location changes or rain outs. Sends out automatic texts & emails.

Mailing List Tool: Create and customize emails and organize email lists. Schedule your emails to go out to the specified lists. You can also send out your News Articles.

Most of the communication features in a HomeTeamsONLINE account are totally free, including the Message Center, Schedule Notification and Mailing List features. You can use a ROOKIE level account and have access to all of these communication features for free. ROOKIE teams and leagues up to 4 teams are free. If you would like to add more teams there will be a small fee. Check out the Pricing Page for more details. 

Note that the Mailing List is designed for personal communication within a sports program, and so there are limitations put on its use to prevent abuse of the system. The system allows for up to 600 messages to be sent per day with a maximum of 5000 per month.

Communication is easy as can be.

The first step is to add your people. HTO offers many ways to enter your people, such as the People Import tool, or simply typing the number or emails into the Message Center. You can even have everyone join and update their own contact information and communication preferences. 

Next, send out your message. The easiest way is to type a message and send it through the Message Center, but you can also make an email in the Mailing List, or send a notification for any game in the Schedule.   

Your message will then be sent out automatically to communicate instantly. 

The only cost is the cost of your annual subscription fee for a HomeTeamsONLINE website. ROOKIE sites are free (up to 4 teams) and  provide the majority of communication features, so you can take advantage of these tools for no charge!
