What is Pitch Tracking?

Pitch tracking is monitoring the individual pitches each individual Pitcher makes on a Baseball or Softball team. This is an essential stat for regulating the Pitchers and is important for many Baseball/Softball Leagues, especially with younger players.

How can I track pitching for free?

Pitch Tracking is a statistic for Pitchers within any Baseball or Softball website account. You must have at least a Pro-Style level account to have access to statistics.  There are no additional fees for tracking your pitches other than the Pro-Style (or better) Home Teams Online account.

You can try out the Pitch Tracker feature for free during a 30-day trial of a HomeTeamsONLINE website. After the Trial, the account must be at least Pro-Style to continue viewing and managing your stats including Pitches. All of the players, stats and games entered after the trial are preserved but can only be viewed and managed after upgrading the account.

 
Is it difficult to track pitching online?

Managing your Pitch Tracking couldn't be easier.

1. Login to your HomeTeamsONLINE site on a computer or mobile device.

2. Add your Pitchers to the Roster by adding them manually, using the Bulk Edit or by using the People Import tool to import a spreadsheet of your player information.

3. Add a game to the schedule

4. Click the Stats button and then click the Pitching stats to track each Pitchers pitches for the game.
 

After entering your pitches, you can view the Player Profile for any Pitcher to view their current Pitch Count.
